So about 2 months ago I found out that Lenovo was going to release an android tablet based on its business line of ThinkPad laptops. Since I happen to own a Lenovo Ideapad I was somewhat intrigued. So I did a little more digging about the internet to find more about this new tablet from this great company. The more I read about it the more I had to have it. The specs and the features speak for them selves, it is the best android 3.1 tablet on the market. I even talked sul into wanting one so bad hes going to be purchasing one at the end of the month.

The Specs are :

  • NVIDIA® Tegra™ 2 Dual-Core 1GHz processor
  • Android™ 3.1
  • 10.1” WXGA (1280×800) 16:10 IPS panel with Corning® Gorilla® Glass
  • Multitouch display with digitizer input (pen optional)
  • Starting at 1.65 lbs
  • Up to 8 hours battery life (with WiFi enabled)
  • Up to 64GB storage
  • Bluetooth®, WiFi and 3G connectivity
  • Native USB 2.0 and micro-USB ports, full-size SD card slot and mini-HDMI output

I purchased my Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet the day it was released Aug 23, It has yet to ship. I find that I should of waited for it to come to Amazon instead of buying it direct from Lenovo. The order system says its supposed to ship on the 12th. I really hope it comes soon. I want to put it up against the iPad pretty bad.

In other news,  as most of my friends know I’m an Android guy through and through, however the lack of innovative smartphones on Sprint’s lineup has forced me to consider purchasing an iPhone 5 when it is released on Sprint. I really hope that a good Android phone shows up on the Sprint scene.

As for the Anime scene right now it’s looking a little bleak. All I have to look forward to right now is Bleach and Fairy Tail every week. Shakugan no Shana III and Working!! (Second Season) are slated for next season, which makes next season at least more fun than watching the rest of Steins;Gate.

I know I haven’t posted in a while, but there just hasn’t been that many thing I wanted to blog about lately. See ya’ll soon when my Tablet comes in!

Kabi out.
