Hello All!,

I’ve been away for awhile. Taking my life in new and interesting directions. In the 2 years since I last posted I got a union card with IATSE 76 and joined Freeman Audio Visual Solutions as a IT Specialist. I now spend a lot of time on the road learning and seeing many things I wouldn’t have just staying where I was in life. As of now I’m sitting in Anaheim waiting for this show to end so I can go on to the next one tomorrow in Houston. Then I get to go pick up another milestone of my life, buying a car from within the past 10 years. I think I’ll take a lot of pictures of the car and do a full Kabi style review of it. It’s a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL V6. I’m very excited about this car.

In other news, I succumbed to the Apple fever that’s been going on in this country for the past 7 years. Freeman assigned me a MacBook Pro and I just bought an iPad3. While I still run Windows 7 on my MacBook Pro, I think I’m really going to jump into iOS fully for once on the iPad. Also, I switched to Windows 8 on my main desktop rig at home. This has been an interesting “upgrade” while I find the Metro UI nifty I don’t completely find it kosher with my usage of the OS. I quickly found an application to add back the old start menu to the Windows 8 desktop. This app has been a lifesaver as it makes my Windows 8 experience much better. Well, I better get back to work.

Rockstar has finally released the trailer for the expected GTA V!

While we know for sure this one will be in San Andreas, it’s not certain who the character will be. Multiple people say it might be Tommy Vercetti from Vice City, or Claude Speed from GTA IIV, but due to the fact that Rockstar has never before brought back a main character to be the main character again, this seems a bit unlikely. However, it’s not unreasonable, nor impossible that this could happen. We’ll just have to wait and see what’s in store for us, and see what time this masterpiece will be released.

So, for my yearly visit to the wonderful state of Maryland, the home of my friend Sul, I went to the Maryland Renaissance Festival.
Sul and I had a list of goals to accomplish while we attended the festival. The first of which was to obtain a drinking device (ie. a goblet or tankard or mug).  We actually found this to be quite a feat since most of the devices we found were either too expensive or not really what I wanted out of my cup.
